The screen turns off after a while

That's iOS auto-lock kicking in. Smart Floor Lamp keeps it disabled while the app is in the foreground, but if you set a sleep timer, auto-lock is handed back to iOS the moment the timer ends — that's by design. To keep the lamp on indefinitely, leave the sleep timer off.

How do I open the controls?

Tap the small slider icon in the top-right corner. Tap outside the panel to dismiss it.

Why is the screen warm even on the "Cool" preset?

iOS True Tone and Night Shift can shift the displayed colour toward warmer tones, especially in the evening. Disable them in iOS Settings → Display & Brightness if you want the colour straight from the app.

What is the 4-7-8 breathing mode?

A relaxation rhythm: inhale 4 seconds, hold 7 seconds, exhale 8 seconds. Brightness gently rises and falls in sync. It's a wind-down aid, not a medical recommendation.

My settings disappeared

This is by design — Smart Floor Lamp does not persist anything between launches. Each session starts on the default amber preset.

Will there be an iPad or Apple Watch version?

iPhone-only for now. We'll consider it if there's demand.
